Publishers
For publishers
Orbit exists to send readers to the newsrooms doing the reporting. Here is exactly how we use your work, and how to opt out if you prefer.
01
What we use
- Only what you publish in your public RSS feeds: the headline, your own short summary, the link and the date.
- We never copy full articles, scrape article pages or bypass paywalls.
- Our briefs are written in our own words from what several outlets report. Direct quotes are rare and kept under 15 words.
02
How we credit you
- Every brief lists its sources by outlet name and your original headline, with a link to your article.
- Each sentence in a brief carries numbered citations pointing to the sources that support it.
- Paywalled articles are marked so readers know what to expect.
- We do not use your logo or imply any partnership or endorsement. Orbit is not affiliated with the publishers it credits.
03
Opt out or request a change
If you'd like us to stop using your feeds, change how you're credited, or correct how we've reflected your reporting, email [email protected] with "Publisher request" in the subject line. Please tell us your outlet and the feeds or stories concerned.
We act on opt-out requests within 48 hours, removing your feeds from future briefs.
